We’re thrilled to announce a new addition to the Wall Street Technology Association’s 2023 Board of Directors! Ranjit S. Samra, Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, has joined our board, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise.
Meet Ranjit: Driving Global Innovation
Ranjit currently serves as the Head of Technology for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management at JPMorgan Chase. In this role, he oversees technology for the U.S. wealth management division, which includes Chase Wealth Management, J.P. Morgan Advisors, J.P. Morgan Online Investing, and J.P. Morgan Personal Advisors. With a global team of 1,000+ technologists under his leadership, Ranjit is driving technology infrastructure, innovation, and modernization for wealth management products. The goal? To provide fully integrated digital client and Advisor experiences across all channels.
A Stellar Career Path
Ranjit’s journey to JPMorgan Chase is impressive. He joined the company in 2018 as the Head of Controls, Legal, and Regulatory Technology in Corporate Technology. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Corporate Services Technology at Credit Suisse and held various roles at Morgan Stanley. With over 30 years of experience in global financial services, Ranjit’s expertise covers a variety of areas, including Wealth Management, Private Equity, and Equity Research Analytics. He’s even had a hand in establishing ‘start-up’ Technology Centers for Morgan Stanley in Mumbai and Montreal!

Ranjit is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders, and has served as a mentor throughout his career.
A Global Perspective
Ranjit holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from City University and a Master of Business Administration from Cass Business School, both in London, U.K. With a career that’s seen him live and work in six global cities, including Luxembourg, New York, Mumbai, and Montreal, he brings a truly global perspective to the WSTA Board.
